Artist's Comments

I finally have an updated reference for my character Teresa. This is her Souls Destined version, and I'll have a fursona version up some time soon hopefully... :nod: Actually the people I have trades with helped get my ass in gear since they need references of my characters to work from... so yeah. That's why I'm posting this ultimately.

I will add on all additional info about her tomorrow or whenever I get the chance to, but right now I just wanna go sleep heh. Anyway. Yeah. I did make some changes to her outfit. Not too different in any way except for the leggings or... whatever you'd call them. She's got fishnets and black boot legging things now (darn Jak2/Jak3 for having cool character designs! :shakefist:). They were inspired by Tess' leg wear. I thought they rocked. So I kinda adopted the design slightly... only mine's different in color and the belts and belt placement is different. Yadda yadda yadda.

Next up will most likely be Bevan. Then Masurao.. I have been waiting for * Nanuka's side of our trade since she said she had some suggestions to make that she'd make through her trade. So I might wait for her first since I do value her input muchly. :huggles her:

Medium: 0.5mm #2 mechanical pencil, ZiG Millenium inking pen size 03, black Sharpie, white Gelly Roll gelpen size medium, Prismacolor and Crayola colored pencils, done on cardstock (heavy, smooth finish).

Wow, she's so cool! You did a great job on coloring and proportions, and I can't pick out anything wrong. Teresa's design is also very original. Kudos to you! ^^

Ooooh, man, the design is gorgeous. :3 The colors immediately won me over...the intense reds and blues. Excellent combo.

Your anatomy skillage is wonderful...I wanna go draw now. XD

Agreed...the Jak series has addictive outfit concepts. X_X

Unbeleivable as always. Each successive evolution of your characters is always a real treat to see, especially when I've been around long enough to chart what gets carried over and what doesn't. :)

There's been some substantial changes to Teresa this go-round, but I notice the top from a previous version (with minor alterations, especially in regards to colour) stayed around, but her overall look has been altered into something a bit "softer" than last time. In fact, both her and Bevan both seem to have gotten a more regal look than before in this generation. :)

With the evolution in costuming has come an evolution in style as well--as your anatomy improves, your colouring has gotten a lot richer and you've been giving characters a lot more solidity as a result.

Excellent work! :) It's always a treat to see these new versions every now and again. Well done!

I can not understand HOW you manage to draw something like that in a matter of only 5 hours. x_x The coloring the lineart and everything is as gorgeous as always. :nod: A lovely clothing, as well as character design (I just love the idea with Teresa as an antilope! ~_^). All the smart solutions (spelling?) on the outfit is great, I love her huge black legwarmers! ^_^

I have imeasurable respect for your knowledge of anatomy and your skill at artin' it. I can't take my eyes off Teresa's curves. Specially the stance in the third one has me captivated; so wavy and it doesn't look the slightest bit off. Of all the people on my watch list, you are one of the few that produces art that is simply enjoyable to view, if you get what I'm saying. :worship:
