[edit - 6-30-05] Found a reference pic so I could show you guys the scene I used for reference on the BG (thanks so much =Keinah)! [click here for ref pic! (not to mention the best scene ever XD)]


:GASP: This took me.... :counts on fingers: about ten hours to CG. O.o Holy crap. That's like, really fast for me xD.

Anyway. Here are the details:

Here, I've designed Ed (from FullMetal Alchemist obviously) as a Swyft Claw (Swyft Clawed are a race I made up yadda yadda yadda more info is above). Ehm. I wanted to do a wallpaper after seeing =RizyuKaizen's WP of Roy as a DustRunner (DustRunners are her race of raptor anthro). So. Yeah. I did.

The background wasn't screencaped or anything, I drew it all by my self lol. It's from the 4th opening sequence in FMA where Ed's being chased by Lust. I liked it and I thought it'd be perfect for this, so I stuck him there. lol.

You know, as complicated as this looks... it really wasn't that hard. XD I think the background alone took me about... eehhh... 4 hours and a half maybe. Ed didn't take too long either.

Hmm... Wish I had a screencap of this scene so I could show you guys... I looked everywhere for one. lol. I ended up having to eyeball everything (the colors, etc) when CGing this (I had FMA paused in another program and would go back and forth between them lol). But yeah. Man. I am so happy. :is happy: I'm sooooo proud of this! I may sound prideful but.. hell, I didn't think I'd be able to pull it off but I did. Good practice too. :nod nod:

That's it I guess. Feel free to use it for your own comp. If anyone needs different sizes that aren't provided here, let me know and I'll put one together for you. The original pic is pretty damned huge so I don't think there's any monitor setting I wouldn't be able to fit it to lol.


Time: 14 hours (approximately)
Music: watched a few eps of FullMetal Alchemist, listened to the FullMetal Alchemist OST 1 & 2, Hagane Song Files, and FMA Complete Best.
Completed: June 30th 2005
Medium: No.2 .05mm lead mechanical pencil, and 005, 01 & 03 ZiG Millenium inking pens on cardstock (heavy, smooth finish). Photoshop 7.0 for CG & text.

Very nice hun. Yeahs I just saw tis on my deviwatch and it already has 60 views. God it took me till the next day to reach that. Oh well. I guess that is what happens when you are popular. I will have to say one thing though. The water does not look that good. It looks to much like crystal then water in face. you should have taken the black lines in it out and added some lighter colors to get some rippel/directional feel to it. Very nice over all though.

yeah. I got lazy with the water XD And thankie. I appreciate it. I still have some work to do with CG and all that fun stuff but... meh. live yah learn. ^^;

I don't really know what to tell yah about views and such. :shrug: I think good fortune comes to those who don't ask for it, if that makes sense. That's what I've observed anyway... it just takes time. I think you're pretty much at my level for the most part Rizyu. It's just a matter of somehow ... catching peoples' attention or something I dunno. I really dunno what it was that happened with me but... meh. If I could, I'd give yah more views and watchers Riz. ^^; I tell 'Nuka the same thing. Only thing is it's not really that easy. It's just something one has to earn on their own I guess.

bleh anyway. I talk too much when I'm tired. x.x Sorry if I offended or anything. Didn't mean to.

Nah. I know I have to catch peoples attention. But somehow I cought the ones loyal to your or something and they took it that I was ripping off of your art. Oh well. I have some people that I know on here that like my art. And I will never be at your level, and to make it worse you are about a year young then I am *or close to it*

I love this! I really can't wait to See Sora & Riku as Swyft Claws, just do it when u get the time to do it though. XD I'm having this as a wallpaper! So hot!
