This was pretty random... well kind of. I just had a picture of Bevan in his long black trenchcoat in the snow in my head so.. I drew it. It was influenced by all the snow fall we had yesterday and last night (some of this morning). We had 20 inches of snow.
And it's freakin' APRIL. Well.. that's Colorado for you I suppose. lol.
Anyway. Yes. I wasn't originally going to shade this but I just felt like adding some substance to it... so I did it the cheapo way by using the lasso tool in Photoshop 7.0, along with the brush here and there for the snow and mountains, and some of Bevan. I like the outcome I have to say, even though I'm almost certain there will be people who don't read this description who will assume he is a female, WHEN HE IS NOT FEMALE.
If you know your anatomy you will be able to tell. He has no hips, some leg muscle kinda shows but the coat billows out and kinda sways so that might effect how he appears. It is kinda femme but I like it. It's pretty. And I don't do graytone pics much, so it was a nice change I think.
Well that's all for now... I'll probably work on commissions next since I'm still kinda-sorta on art block. I think doing commissions will help me out of that.
