Well I said to hell with commissions for a few days and decided to finish this drawing. I redrew the lineart on a larger resolution (the original drawing is 9000 x 12000 pixels if you can imagine THAT!) and then did a new coloring technique I learned from a tutorial by the incredibly talented Jahi. I know he's on dA but I don't remember what name he's under... I know it's different from on Y!Gallery.

But anyway, I really like the new technique. It makes using fading colors easier to shade. I used to have the hardest time doing the purple to blue on Sachiel and making the shadows look consistent between them without looking messy... so this new technique saves me a lot of agony and pain.

Now all I need to do is work on the background. XD well.. I don't think I'll be going back to this again. The lighting looks inconsistent between Sachiel and the background. I should have used harsher shadows on Sachiel if it were to look like he was part of the background, really, but I didn't really plan far enough. XD Oh well.

I had fun with this and that's all that matters. x3
