:cough: Someone was complaining (or rather, asking) when I'd be posting any traditional artwork again... so here yah go lol. I dunno guys, just haven't been much into traditional media lately. I like doing new things and the whole 3D stuff is new and interesting to me, where right now traditional seems a bit old. I'll jump back on it eventually, I just like doing this 3D thing. XD It's kinda funny because I really do despise how 3D is taking over everything.. I mean hell, Dreamworks has 3D movies lined up for the next like... 5 years. X__x And I imagine Disney will be no different.. but who would wanna work for them anyway... they practically over work you there and if you make more than like three mistakes you're out. Stupid Disney... used to be a good company but not really anymore. ;_; The only movie I really truely love from them that's been put out in recent years (I still love all the oldies like The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and I especially love Sleeping Beauty) ... anyway the only one I really like that's recent is The Emporer's New Groove. I love that movie X3 Makes me laugh so damn much and it's good humor, none of that stupid gross crap that takes up most of the "comedic" films out these days.
:cough: Wow I went off on a tangent... Where I was going with that was... I really hate how 3D's taking over the film industry, but as far as videogame goes, I'm all for it. You can't really make a videogame with 2D animation. And no the new 3D graphics with characters outlined in a lineart looking border doesn't count. That's still 3D. XD And since I'm going into videogaming, doing some 3D is good for me and probably could be used for portfolio purposes down the line.
Anyway. Picture is of my cat's fursona (my cat is named Pabo). He's too much like an Egyptian so that's why he's in Egypt on a random ruined throne. This was originally going to be for a commission but since what they were paying for was one without a background, I had to do something different. I'll color this eventually.. I'll probably color and finish commissions before then however.
Done on heavy cardstock with a smooth finish, drawing in pencil for sketch, inked with Faber Castell inking pen size Super Fine.
Your ideas/costumes/poses/character still awe me, and I always wonder as to where you manage to come up with them. There all so wonderful. Please post lots more of WHATEVER you have. I'm only ALWAYS too happy to look at them.

Oh you earned SO many points with me just now for showing 2D animation (especially in games) some love.
The pic itself is awesome--I like the contrast in line between the rough rock-throne he's sitting on and his own rather graceful lines. I also like how his sleeves connect up to the collar thing. It also doesn;t hurt that I'm a sucker for Egyptian motifs in design.
Excellent work! Looking forward to seeing it finished out.
I like 3-d for the most part, unless they start getting really stupid with something like 3-d spongebob movies. Ugh. I have the gun ready. I plan to try to do something in college involving 3-d animation. Was going to do game design, but I'd rather not feel the burn when a game I helped make is ripped apart in Game Informer and other such gaming sources XP

I am not making fun of you personally, I am heaping scorn on an inexcusably silly idea - a practice I shall always follow.
