PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS OR ASSUMING ANYTHING! THANKIES! :D

[edit] Altered his coloring some. made it more red. I'd put him next to Bevan and realized they had nearly the exact shade of skin/fur color so I decided Mas would be the one to change (Bevan's not changing any lol). I might alter these colors again later, I'm not sure though. For now he'll be these colors. His hair/tail colors (the purple fade color) might change later as well. [/edit]

CGed it. With flat colors for the most part. The only part of this I used my tablet pen for was his eyeshadow (yes that is eyeshadow X3) and the lineart for his stripes. The colors I've decided will always stay the same as they are here, I'm just thinking about changing his marking style some later when I've got a clearer idea of what I want for the forest/arctic races. Masurao is supposed to be half Desert half Tundra Swyft Claw, so depending on what I choose to do marking style wise for the Tundra ethnicity will determine how his markings will look. The colors will be like they are here, though.

Anyway. Yep. He has no fishnet. :O :GASP: But sheer material is pretty similar. I kinda promise my friend =Nanuka that I wouldn't cover him in too much fishnet lol. She likes to see the markings rather than have them all covered up. Well for this outfit he needs to have a darker appearance since he'd be sneaking around at night around buildings to KEEEELLL J0000000. XD

And it felt nice to FINALLY put him in a red colored outfit. I always wanted to dress him in red before but his coloring was already red lol. X3 I've wanted him to be a more natural skin tone for a long time. And he probably came out darker because I tend to like darker skin tones (should be obvious since my boyfriend is dark lol). I might have gone darker if I hadn't wanted him to have noticible eyeshadow. X3 That's mostly why I didn't put a lighter color around his eye like in previous versions. I like it dark. :nod:

So yeh. I want to CG this with some shadow and highlight definition but I'm not sure when I'd get to that since once I have the new tablet first thing I'll do is commission work.

I might sleep a little bit... Woke up at around midnight last night and couldn't get back to sleep. So I'm pretty freakin' tired.

oh wow ^^ awesome colours. actually i quite like this version of masurao. the purple and black hair suits him ^^ i like the outfit to. i m glad your happy with your designs now :3 you should take peoples comments in hand but consider what you want to ^^ gives masurao a :cookie: ^^

My my my... It's a bit strange to see this new version of Masurao... I must say that I liked him in his red skin, but this new color skin is not bad. It makes him more serious I think, more warrior, more .. dark... ^_^ I like him in this form too. It's great if you think you have finally found the style you wanted him to be. ;)

Well, the outfit rocks, tough I really didn't recognise Masurao... kay, I guess you've already heared too much of this, it's your characetr and it's up to you to change him ;) But hey, you've already have a character that represents your boyfreind and looks pretty much like him :shakefist: :D can't wait to see it shaded!

you havn't been around much for a while then. o_O;; Different races of Swyft Claw each live in different ways, and the ones I'd had people design for was a race more tribal. However there are different societies and many live in a much more modern way. Next time try to keep up ne? This isn't the first time I've drawn him more modern lol. XD

yeah I know. lol. I figure, humans are all different shades of skin tones... so why couldn't different anthros be the same way? x3 Besides I've wanted Mas to have a more skintone coloring forever (and I mean a long time ever since a year or more ago). And yeah I'm getting tired of hearing it. But it wont make me change my mind. :shrug: I'm tired of doing everything the way other people wanted me to.
