 Yes, your eyes are not decieving you. His design HAS been slightly altered here. I wanted to mess around again, with the design for his race... it's been bothering me that his, =RizyuKaizen's and =Nanuka's races looked all sooo similar... so.. I wanted to try something none of them have yet. Someone mentioned that it was recently discovered that velociraptors were supposed to have feathers (not like wings or anything)... so I added feathers to the design. Then I made the hands only have 4 digits rather than 5, to make the race more like the dinosaur. Yes I know raptors only had 3 digits, but it would look too weird on an anthro so, 4 will do. I also added a small innermost toe to the feet anatomy on each foot, so that they would be more like a raptor's. [edit:] I'll probably make the hands have 5 digits like a human hand next time... 4 kinda bug me lol. I like it on Gargoyles (the disney animated series) but... otherwise it kinda bugs me lol. That's all. I'm not sure yet if I'll change the Swyft Clawed race officially with these changes... the liklihood is very high though. I might tweek it a little bit here and there but... I probably will make these changes. I don't want my race to be so similar so... yeah. You guys will probably all kill me once you see the newer appearance guide I've been working on for the race. O_o Since I ran the contest, I've made quite a few changes.. but it's all pretty much the same. I will need permission in the future to add in whatever anatomy changes have been made to the characters that won in the contest. Unless you guys (who won) would like to redesign it yourselves, it is up to you. Right now, since I've been considering and making changes to the race I havn't started any modelling on the winning characters yet for that very reason. It is a pain in the ass to model so... I didn't wanna start something and then have to go back and change it. But yeah. There's that. Oh. And I was just trying out more cell shaded style CG for this.  I got lazy when I did the lighting layer (the orange light cast on Masurao from the gun flash).... so if you see something not colored or messy lol... that's why. And I know the pose is rather Tomb Raider-ish. Shut up XD. I think it's cool, even if it is cliche lol.time: 5 hours completed: November 12th 2005 music: Gackt (a bunch of his albums, too many to name lol) medium: #2 .05mm lead mechanical pencil for sketch, 01 ZiG Millenium and Fine Faber Castell inking pens for lineart, Drawn on 8.5"x11" cardstock (heavy with a smooth finish). Hey, about the feathers, Do you think it'd be cool to have a layer of feathers, under Masurao's, hair? And maybe they could be the red and black colors like when you were screwing around with his colors. Or something like that.
