Help please?
I can't get L's face right, it really bugs me. :S I must have wasted hours on it erasing and redoing it I just... am about to give up. X3 I didn't wanna post this anywhere because I wanted to keep at least SOME of my Yaoi-Con prints on the low but, I dunno, I really need some help with this one. x3 Critique welcomed for the overall image too, as long as it's helpful and not crude or insulting ok? Thanks guys, I love you all! :waves arms around: Photoshop CS2 CommentsL's haed seems a little big compared to Light's, if that's any help at all ^-^"
-- Provehito in Altum "My molecular transporter was confiscated by my creative writing teacher when I tired to beam me up, Scotty" Yeah...His overall head size seems rather large when compared to Light's.Plus I thought L was shorter? You could also try positioning L's head lower on Light's shoulder.
-- Remember, always be yourself. Unless you suck. "We keep telling you how wonderful you are, but you never listen! What is wrong with you!?" It takes 26 muscles to smile, 62 to frown, and only 4 to raise one's middle finger. I think L's head looks good O:
Wish I could help... but really.. it looks fine to me xD; can't wait to see it done :3 -- ♥ megnut ♥ Contest For Anthro Artists! Like My Icon? Buy 1 for $5! Well...just from what I first saw, I thought that L's mouth looked a little odd. It almost looks like the corner of his mouth is pointing to the corner of his eye. Maybe instead of pointing to his eye, you could have the point of his mouth aim toward his ear or something >.> even though his ear is hidden.
But that's just what I saw. It's your artwork, and I think it looks great so far ;D! I agree with the other comments too. L's head seems a little big, but those are the only things I could spot. Good luck with it! I'm sure it'll turn out great ^^! -- "We fear what we do not understand...but if we did understand...would we still be afraid?" ~Akane-sama~ 92% of teens would be dead if Abercrombie & Fitch said it wasn't cool to breathe. Put this in your sig if you are the 8% who would be laughing. You also gotta remember L's spiky hair
-- Icon by =Neltruin Commissions :: Click Here YOUR BOOTY SHIVVERS ME TIMBERS ARG I think kittybabe is right on this one. A little bit of it is the hair, but L's head -does- look a bit oversized compared to Light.
-- "Flamethrowers are proof that somewhere, sometime, someone said 'I want to set those people over there on fire. But I'm just not close enough to do it.' Comforting, huh?" - George Carlin Make Light's eyes a tad bit bigger, right now they make him look feminine which might be what is throwing off the look, his left eye looks a litte to tilted too. L's head does looks big but I think it's his hair, idk I hope I helped.
-- Shiahiahioaashi cishero rirorel kishea orelyu vokithaea kicikiri yoro volemethae rirorelshi eakiruea. It's a lot better than anything I could do, so I really can't assist, but I really hope you're able to finish it. It looks wonderful.
-- "Even though I don't know where you are, every song I ever play is for you. I hope that music finds you wherever you are." ---Hijiri Minase "Yami no Matsuei"(Descendents of Darkness) I have the same problem with that pose. The problem is that the forehead is too far back, which is bringing the eye back, making it look like he has more of a muzzle than a nose and mouth area. Bring the eye and forehead forward (easy way to do it is the liquify tool, I think it's image>liquify, or edit>liquify).
Also, the hands are just a little big; the human hand is typically as long as the face. I hope this helps! -- Human beings can always be relied on to assert, with vigor, their given right to be stupid. |
