PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS OR ASSUMING ANYTHING! THANKS!
Commission for ~endejester of her red panda fursona! Thankyu dear! You've been so unbelievably patient with me, and very very generous and understanding too. ;_; I owe you like more than I have to offer... but I hope this will do. I actually think she turned out lovely, personally.
I used at least four different shades of red and orange for her fur. lol. But I have to say it turned out nicely ne? I should use more colors like this more often. It would give my images more depth.. but yeah. I hope you like Endejester!
Welp. I'll be starting the next commission that's already been paid for. I don't wanna start on any that haven't been paid for anymore since :cough:SOMEONE:cough: hasn't paid me for theirs yet and it's been at least a month's time since it was completed. And it's only $15 for cryin' out loud... but anyhow...
Thank you Endejester. I hope you likie. It's been quite a while since I've worked in traditional media. It is fun and nice. I would do it more than I do if my back didn't hurt so much every time that I did. Moreso my neck than my back usually...
But anyhow... that's all. I'm so tired. I've only been getting around 4 hours of sleep each night for the past few nights... so I'm not feeling too energetic to say the least. Not to mention I haven't been eating well either which adds to it...
:shuts up: Enjoy the pic peeps (I hope?)
time: 5 hours (approx) completed: October 18th, 2005 music: Chrno Crusade Original Soundtrack, Gackt: MARS, Gackt: MOON, Gackt: The Sixth Day ~singles collection~ (an odd combination of music, but it's what I've been listening to lol) medium: 0.5mm #2 mechanical pencil, 01 SAKURA Micron inking pen, Fine nib Faber Castell inking pen, white Gelly Roll pen, Crayola and Prismacolor colored pencils on 8.5" x 11" Cardstock (heavy, smooth finish).
I really, really like this character design. I basically like everything about her- from her colours to her clothes (especially her pants!) to her tail to her wings. All in all, a very cool character design and you did a beautiful job on her!
Awww, her face is really sweet. I mean, she sorta has that "Any second now I'll seduce you" look, but it's still somehow really sweet. O_O Such a curvaceous lady, or however you spell that word that has something to do with having an hour-glass figure. I feel that the shading underneath her breasts might be to pronounced for the lightness of the shading elsewhere on the shirt. However, I also feel that scanners can be a brat and do things like that to colours. I particularly enjoy the shading on her hair, though, this is a really lovely picture.
Oh wow! That's really amazing. I love what you do with your colors and how you get them blended and such so well together! It really blows me away (*ish really envious and loving this one*). The positioning is really cute too, I love it!
I love her very much. She's so pretty! ^^ *rubs your shoulders* I hope your getting slightly better? Go see the c... Well I can't spell it. But the back doctor XD *nods* I particulary like the 4 different red/ orange pencil crayons too. wOOt. Very nice blending.
Hey, HG I know you don't know me very well but i meet you though Aku-Starfire (Amber). She's my cousin. Well... I just wanted to say that I love to look at your artwork and that you're one of my favorite artists. Your an inspiration for me to keep working hard on my own artwork so that one day I might be as good as you. This picture and Heavenly Saint being favorite pictures of yours.
well great work i really like it ur like the only artist that i watch that i comment on and that a good thing cause that means I really like ur work good job. There seems though that there is almost no shading in the drawing so if you are ever going to photoshop this have a light source great work though AWESOmEnSS!!!!
lol. Well look closer-there is a light source... it's just harder to tell when it comes with colored pencil work. And since this is a commission I wont be doing any more with it. But, thanks all the same. I'm glad you enjoy my work.
Aw, this is wonderful. You are right, there is a lot of depth into the fur. My favorite part of this whole picture is that the fur is coming out of the fishnets. That is so realistic and eyecatching. This is really lovely, and the face is soft and cute. The wings are a little odd though, I really wouldn't expect those from this type of fursona, but they look rather cool. As always, I love your designs in clothing. Great job.
Pretty! I agree that the use of multiple colors definately added depth to this. I especially like that you can see the tree branches through her wings, and more accurately blurred them unlike most. The foreshortening of the left leg was also really well done. n_n Overall a really nice composition and I hope endejester likes it too.
