Commission for ~DrakenByte! Tiz her character Meract. Man. I was speed drawing too.... So it got done quicker than it probably would if I'd just been drawing at a normal pace. I'm pretty damn proud of myself too. I finally have gotten through my cursed art block!
I figure I'll draw stuff in the following order:
1- commissions
2- new character reference sheets
3- trades
4- my own crap
And they might be done in a mixed way but it'll generally look like that. I'm doing references for my characters before trades because some of the people I'm trading with need new reference sheets to draw my characters from... so yeah... I figure I need to get those done asap.
What else.... I think that's it. Mom will kill me for staying up 'til 5 in the morning again... but I have a valid excuse this time! >:3 Not that I didn't last night either (talked with Kenny on the phone 'til 5am yesterday).
time: 3 hours completed: June 1st 2005 music: FullMetal Alchemist OST medium: 0.5mm #2 mechanical pencil, smudgestick, super fine, fine, and medium Faber Castell inking pens, Prismacolor colored pencil, and white Crayola colored pencil on Cardstock (heavy, smooth finish).
Wow, you have truly amazing coloring skills. The way you've done the leopard spots is great, I love them...the way they're slightly blurred makes it look uber-realistic. Everything else about him is quite amazing, the colors and shading is done so skillfully.
I have always adored the way you draw the male body, you just draw it so perfect. The muscles and all, and I think you draw the arms nicely for some reason... I donno why, I just like the way you draw arms.... XD;; And the very fact that you produce something like that in a matter of 3 hours... ._. I would've used like 6.
Wonderful posing and (ofcourse) coloring.
Thanks so much Marit! As always. You're not too far behind in your male anatomy I don't think. I know you think I'll always be better but I disagree. I'm sure you'll be just as good at it if not better than I am at it one of these days. Just keep practicing.
Hooray for organizing your art life & breaking that evil art block! If you get another art block, draw anthro-people, because you're smashingly good at drawing anthros...and I'm not...I need more practice...
*goes into ninja stealth mode*
AND NOW IT SHALL BE MINE!!!
*steals it stealthily and ninjily*
Wonderful posing and (ofcourse) coloring.
Thanks so much Marit! As always.
