Alright. Last fanart I draw for a while I swear. XD
I promise I'll submit some commissions tomorrow. Please no critique. I already know what's wrong with it lol. I just drew this for the hell of it. Probably wont go back to it. Anyway. Inspired by the fanfiction "Poison Apple" by ~AvengeroftheAbyss. I don't remember exactly what they were wearing and such at this point in the story but otherwise it's pretty close. XD I love that fic to pieces. I just finished chapter 14- when I thought things couldn't be more interesting than they already were, it got even better. x3 Wonderful fic! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. The position is grand, and the body language says so much. The folds are superb. They're one thing that are hard to do correctly, and the fabrics seem to be matching their folds, which is a very good thing.
What I love about this is that everything has a purpose. There are no limbs drawn in because people HAVE to have you know, legs and... arms... They're doing some small thing, and acting as legs and arms do. Not some background prop.
Also the attention to detail is grand, and it's not overwhelming. I love how there's the touch of the falling fork as L seems to be thinking "OMG WTF" at a million miles an hour.
Light's look is great too in complete contrast to L's.
Yet again, wonderful. Even as lineart. ^__^

Ever think about drawing yourself into one of these pieces? Just curious, is all. Kind of some insight to how you'd interact with a character you really like. Plus to know if it is how you'd REALLY act, or how you'd WANT to.
Just brainstorming here. Well... more like a braindrizzle...
